So Redick sized up the situation and thought better of challenging James at the rim. He instead pulled up for a midrange shot.
Predictably, Redick's apprehension caused the knock-down shooter to miss a chip shot. James can have that effect.
After the game, LeBron, who seems to think out every play before it happens, provided some insight into his approach on defense.
Asked LeBron about getting Redick to pull-up in transition. "I was baiting him to see if he wanted to take it all the way to the hole."
